Manually installing Overlays in OBS Studio (Windows and MacOS)

Installation of this product involves using media, image, and text sources. If you’re unfamiliar with these, please make sure to familiarize yourself with the streaming software you use.

  1. Extract the files you’ve downloaded onto your computer.
  2. Open OBS Studio.
  3. To add animated resources (WEBMs, or MP4 files), start by clicking the "+" and selecting “Media Source”.
  4. Next, locate your desired overlay elements. There are preset layouts OR modular elements to customize to your needs. Mix and match as needed.
  5. To add dynamic supporter tags, check out this How to use Stream Labels article.
  6. You can repeat this process for all Animated and Static sources (Static sources use "Image" instead of Media Source).
  7. Please use any demo images or videos from the product page for reference on recommended layouts.
