Extracting a zip file

Most things downloaded from the internet are contained in a compressed folder called a Zip or Rar file. This is the same with anything downloaded from NerdOrDie.com. In order to use the files, you must extract them. Much like the fruit of an orange, you have to extract it from the peel first.

This is how to extract files from a zip.

  1. Locate your downloaded file
  2. Right click the .zip file
  3. Choose "Extract All..."
  4. Choose the location you wish to send the files to
  5. Click "Extract"
