Finding/using the "Custom Fields"

All of our custom alerts and widgets have specially coded settings to make it easy for you to customize your product quickly and without coding knowledge. Here's how to locate and use them in Streamlabs and StreamElements! 

 

How to find/use the custom fields to customize your alerts/widgets using Streamlabs

  1. Important! If you're using Streamlabs Desktop, make sure to keep it closed during this process.
  2. First log into Streamlabs.com and go to your Alert Box/Widgets.
  3. Next click on the alert you wish to customize. (or select the specific widget. E.g.: Event List, Chat Box, Goal).
  4. Scroll down to the "Custom Fields" section (Next to the HTML, CSS and JS).
  5. Make your changes.
  6. Click "Save" at the bottom of the page.

The preview at the top of the page doesn't show custom coding correctly. Click the launch button towards the top mid-right of the page to view the actual widget/alert.

How to find/use the custom fields to customize your alerts/widgets using StreamElements

  1. Log into StreamElements and navigate to Streaming tools > Overlays.
  2. Next click on the alert you wish to customize. (or select the specific widget. E.g.: Event List, Chat Box, Goal).
  3. In the left hand menu find "Settings".
  4. Make your changes.
  5. Click "Save" at the bottom of the page.
