Premiere Pro - "Expression" errors and changing default language

We've found that some users who's software is set to something other than English have trouble opening the Premiere Pro files without "expression" errors that cause elements to not appear as intended.

If your software is automatically set to a language other than English, then it's possible the the issue could be solved easily by forcing Premiere Pro to open in English instead of another language.

This can be done by performing the following steps:

  1. Create new project.
  2. Click "OK".
  3. Click "Yes".
  4. Press Ctrl + F12.
  5. Click on "Console Options".
  6. Select "Debug Database View".
  7. Go To "ApplicationLanguage".
  8. Type "en_EN".
  9. Close "Debug Database View" option.
  10. Close Adobe Premiere Pro.
  11. Open Adobe Premiere Pro.

If this doesn't resolve the issue you are having, please kindly gather some screenshots of the issue and contact our support here.
